With the right repetition, you can transform a basic beige box into a space full of personality. If you only have the energy (and budget) to make one major change, a simple makeover can go a long way. “Items rely on a strong context, or ‘envelope,'” explains Los Angeles-based interior designer Oliver Firth. “Nothing transforms a space like a good envelope.
